Ergens tussen ‘Bleached’ van Nirvana en ‘Damaged’ van Black Flag bevindt zich Unwound. Dit album bestaat uit de ep’s die Unwound maakte voor Kill Rock Stars en Gravity Records. Op hun eigen Punk In My Vitamins kwam dit self-titled album in 1995 uit. De prehistorie van Unwound plays out in a feral maelstrom of screaming, distortion, feedback, and abrasive promise.
