Rond 2000 maakte Pere Ubu z’n elfde studioalbum. Ook toen waren ze nog compromisloos en reuze invloedrijk. ‘Pennsylvania’ heeft een donkere kijk op popmuziek. Deze reissue is door David Thomas persoonlijk geremixt. Pushing the limits of rock ‘n’ roll to twist into avant-garde.
