Dragon Welding was oorspronkelijk een anagram van lead gitarist Andrew Golding, tevens vooraanstaand lid van noise popband The Wolfhounds. Dragon Welding is sinds 2023 een duo met Golding en zanger Nik Cockshott (ex-The Spores en The Keatons)… dark electronic backing, augmented by an increasing plethora of obtuse instrumentation topped by unpretentious ecologically and socially aware lyrics.
